So, I have some news. This is going to be a lengthy post!...
From 1st December I am moving on to pastures new, I'll be parking up my little red car, and I won't be teaching anymore! For a lot of people I know this will be a huge shock, but it was time to go. It was an extremely difficult decision to make as I am very proud of what I have achieved with my business, and the reputation I have built up. However, I have been unhappy for a while, and for myself and my family it was the right decision. I just want to thank everyone who has supported me along the way. It's you guys that have helped me become as successful as I was, whether it be through word of mouth or teaching children of friends, or school Mum's. I have had some great times, and have some lovely memories that will last a lifetime. There are not a lot of jobs that give the satisfaction that this does, and in some cases it's life changing for people. I have had some extremely proud moments, and in some of you have made friends for life. So for that I am very very grateful. I would also like to give a final thank you to Neil Chegwin, who took me under his wing, and made me into the instructor I am. Without him I am pretty sure I wouldn't have made it!
Who knows what the future holds, I may be back! But in the meantime, I wish all my current pupils (who we've moved to other instructors!) the best of luck in the rest of their learning and tests. And those of you who I've had the pleasure of teaching and seeing pass, a long and happy future. Lots of love ❤️🚗🚗🚗

This afternoon it was Millie Bull's turn... A fantastic pass in Ashford today, with just 2 driver faults. Millie, you have been lovely, a pleasure to teach, and great fun. I will miss our lessons. I'm really proud of you for putting your all into this. It's a massive achievement passing in a town you haven't learnt in. Take care, and I will see you on the road 🚗🚗🚗🚗

An amazing achievement today by Amy Sherwood... Amy only turned 17 a couple of weeks ago, and passed her driving test today first time with just 1 minor fault! A lot of the hard work was done by her Dad Trevor, but still, to achieve that result after just a few lessons is fantastic, as it is certainly not easy. Not just the learning, but getting used to all road conditions, the safety aspects, other road users and everything else! Amy worked really really hard, didn't take anything for granted, had the hunger to learn, and that's what she did. Absolutely amazing! Super proud! I know she will go on to continue to be a safe and competent driver. Your family have been so lovely and supportive Amy, and I will be popping in for a cuppa sometime soon! Congratulations 🚗🚗🚗🚗

Well this one reduced me to tears today! Massive congratulations to Brandon Hardy, who passed his test this afternoon. When he first started he wouldn't say a word to me, for weeks and weeks it was me just talking to him. I gained his trust, and in the end he wouldn't stop talking! I am so, so proud of you Brandon, you have worked your butt off to get this today and it's thoroughly deserved. Every now and then I get a pupil that is really special to me, and you have been one of those... Stay safe and I'll see you on the road 🚗🚗🚗

Poppy your determination to get your licence has been extraordinary, and it is a pleasure to teach people who truly want to work hard to get the results.
