Dear Parents and Carers,

Many of you may have seen that Haylands Primary School is introducing a new uniform, and we will be following these changes at preschool too.

Uniform is available to purchase from Kids&Co in Ryde.

We would like to reassure families that wearing preschool uniform is completely optional. Some children really enjoy wearing it as it helps them feel part of the preschool community and gives them a sense of belonging. It can also be a practical choice, helping to keep children’s own clothes clean and protected during all the fun, messy activities and play they take part in.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to seeing the children proudly wearing their new colours in September if they choose to.

Our children have been busy taking part in a range of fun, hands-on fine motor activities. From developing their hand strength and coordination to practising their control and precision, the children have been exploring new ways to use their hands and fingers through play.

These activities help to build important skills needed for everyday tasks such as writing, dressing, and using tools independently, all while encouraging concentration, creativity, and confidence.

It has been wonderful to see the children so engaged, supporting each other, and enjoying their learning through play! 💛
