Cheeky Chimps Day Nursery, Ryde, Isle Of Wight. Cheeky Chimps is a very well established, successful and popular childcare service est in 1997. Cheeky Chimps is spacious both indoors and outdoors.

We pride ourselves on having a bright and friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome. With our wide selection of toys and equipment, there will be something to interest children of all ages. We will be running our holiday club from Monday 27th July through to 28th August.
Sessions are 8-1, 1-6 or a full day 8-6
£22 for half sessions and £44 full day.
Feel free to book in now.

**EARLY CLOSURE FRIDAY 26th JUNE**

Good morning, we are sorry but we again have made the difficult decision to close Cheeky Chimps at 1pm tomorrow (Friday 26th June) due to the continued severe weather forecast.

We know how much it interferes with your busy schedules and we are really sorry to have to take this action, we usually open rain, shine, snow anything but this is unprecedented.

To our upcoming September starters…

We are rescheduling our Pre school enrolment from tonight at 6pm to next Thursday 2nd July at 6pm.
This will ensure a more comfortable enrolment for all our families as the temperatures will be back to a normal reading.
We hope that this works for you all.
Please accept our apologies for rescheduling but it is the right decision today. ☀️
If you are unable to attend, please contact the setting by phone or email and we can look at a more suitable date and time to suit.

**EARLY CLOSURE**

Evening everyone, we are sorry for the late notice but we have made the difficult decision to close Cheeky Chimps at 1pm tomorrow (Thursday 25th June) due to the severe weather forecast.

We have endured a very long, hot day today, the children have been kept safe and had fun but it’s unbearable at the moment so it’s best for everyone if we follow most other schools and nurseries and make the sensible decision.

We know how much it interferes with your busy schedules and we are really sorry to have to take this action, we usually open rain, shine, snow anything but this is unprecedented.

Hi everyone.
So with very intense heat forecast this week, please help support the setting by making sure your child is fully equipped with a water bottle, thin layered clothing that can be removed, sun hats and suncream.
(We will only be using shaded areas and under covered areas)
We also plan to have lots and lots of water play so can we ask for extra underwear or swim wear please.
Temperatures may climb to the very high 30’s! 🥵
Our wonderful staff will ensure that all children are cared for in this heat and we will ensure plenty of fluid breaks and rest.

The weather forecast for the end of this week and into half term is looking very hot and sunny 🌞
Whilst we will ensure shade and fluid intakes regularly, can we ask that sun cream is applied before the children come in and can we ask that a named bottle of sun cream is supplied so that we can top up after lunch for afternoon play.
Please can this apply to all the children attending Chimps in all departments and for the holiday club too.
Named sun hats will also be beneficial too please.
