πŸ’– A heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful parents πŸ’–

We honestly cannot thank you enough for your incredibly generous, thoughtful and beautiful gifts. 🎁 Your kindness and generosity have truly touched our hearts, and we feel very, very spoilt. πŸ₯° It means so much to know that the love and care we pour into the children is appreciated, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. ❀️

And then, of course, comes the hardest part of the year… saying goodbye to our school leavers. πŸ₯ΉπŸŽ“

Some of these little ones have been with us since they were tiny babies. We have had the privilege of watching them take their very first steps, hear their first words, overcome challenges, make friendships, discover their personalities and grow into the incredible little people they are today.

It never gets easier saying goodbye. There are always tears, lots of hugs and that bittersweet feeling of being incredibly proud, while wishing we could keep them with us just a little bit longer. ❀️

But as emotional as it is, we know they are ready for their next adventure. They are kind, bright, funny, resilient and absolute stars ⭐ and we have no doubt whatsoever that they will continue to shine wherever life takes them.

So, to all of our wonderful leavers β€” good luck, believe in yourselves, keep being amazing and never stop shining. ✨🌈

You will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we will miss you more than you know. ❀️

Thank you for letting us be part of your journey. What a privilege it has been. πŸ₯ΉπŸ’–

Preschool theme of the week:The Gingerbread man

This week we have been super busy learning and exploring this fairytale.

We have learnt about repeated refrains through the book of the week The Gingerbread Man.

We have developed our expressive arts and design decorating our own gingerbread man using art materials.

In the forest garden we used natural materials pine cones, acorns, twigs to create a gingerbread man design.

We have all enjoyed saying β€œRun, Run, as fast as you can you can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man” many times.

🎭✨ Introducing Our Wonderful New WONDER STAGE! ✨🎭

We have some born performers here at Wonder House! 🌟

Our brand-new Wonder Stage has already been a huge hit with the children. From singing their favourite songs and dancing to putting on their very own performances, they have absolutely loved having the opportunity to step into the spotlight. πŸŽ€πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

It has been wonderful to watch their confidence grow as they take to the stage β€” and one thing is for sure… they all shone like stars! ⭐️

Our Wonder Stage isn't just lots of fun; it also provides some fantastic learning opportunities linked to the EYFS:

🌟 Communication & Language – encouraging children to express themselves, use new vocabulary, listen to others and share their ideas.

🌟 Personal, Social & Emotional Development – building confidence, self-esteem and resilience while learning to take turns, support friends and celebrate each other's achievements.

🌟 Expressive Arts & Design – giving children the freedom to use their imagination through music, dance, storytelling, role play and performance.

🌟 Physical Development – dancing and moving to music helps develop coordination, balance, body awareness and gross motor skills.

🌟 Literacy – acting out familiar stories, creating their own narratives and singing rhymes all help develop children's understanding of storytelling, rhythm and language.

Most importantly, our Wonder Stage gives every child the opportunity to find their voice, express themselves and have their moment to shine. 🌈⭐️

We can't wait to see many more wonderful performances from our little Wonder House stars! πŸŽπŸŽΆπŸ‘
