What is Seasonal Yoga? These five
elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

Seasonal Yoga flow is a style of dynamic Yoga practice which is designed to align you with the changing energies of nature and the seasons. A practice that improves physical strength and flexibility and brings balance and harmony to your life. Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the belief that all humanity is part of the natural
environment and that health or balance can only be achieved whe

n one follows the natural
law, adapting to the changes of the seasons and the surrounding environment. The theories of yin and yang, together with the notion of the five elements, were developed
through ancient Chinese rituals of observing natures ever changing cycles. These are related to the different
seasons of the year and to organise in the human body.

🌞 Hello Early Summer 🌞

Nature has begun to offer us a glimpse of the season ahead — warmer days, longer hours of sunlight, and an increasing sense of energy and expansion. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is the time to begin awakening the fire element within the body, gently preparing ourselves for the warmth and vibrancy of full summer, the most yang phase of the year.

During these weeks, our focus will be on the connective tissue, or fascia — the intricate web that runs continuously throughout the body. Fascia plays many important roles, including providing structure, aiding communication within the body, storing water, and separating and supporting tissues. Keeping fascia healthy and hydrated can help improve strength, ease muscular tension, support joint stability, and encourage healthy circulation.

The organs associated with this season are the Pericardium — the protective sac surrounding the heart — and the Triple Heater, which helps regulate heat and circulate energy throughout the body via the connective tissue and fascia.

The Pericardium meridian travels through the shoulder and down the inner arm, crossing the palm before ending at the corner of the middle finger.

The Triple Heater meridian starts at the tip of the ring finger, travels up the arm to the shoulder, around the back of the neck and ear, and finishes at the outer edge of the eyebrow.

Our yoga practice over the coming weeks will therefore include movements that open the chest and broaden the arms, encouraging space around the heart centre both physically and emotionally. We will also focus on warming and stretching the connective tissue to help generate heat, improve circulation, and encourage the smooth flow of energy throughout the body.

The fresh energy of Spring is almost here, and with it comes a beautiful shift in both nature and our practice. As the days grow longer and we begin to see new shoots and leaves emerging on the trees, Spring invites us to reconnect with a sense of growth, renewal and vitality.

To celebrate the arrival of Spring, I’ll be hosting a special Seasonal Saturday Session — a light, awakening vinyasa practice focused on growth and fresh energy.

Saturday 21st March
9:00am – 10:30am
This nourishing 90-minute practice will include:
• Pranayama (breathwork)
• A gentle, awakening Vinyasa flow
• Backbends, twists and expansive movements to shake off winter stagnation
• Deep relaxation with Yoga Nidra
• A refreshing juice shot
• Healthy homemade bites to finish

Spaces can be booked through Momoyoga. Simply purchase the “Seasonal Saturday Session” class pass (£12) and use it to reserve your spot.

The next 4 weeks are all about the HAMSTRINGS

To everyone who says “I can’t do yoga, I’m not flexible”
- this is your sign 👀

Let’s lengthen those hamstrings, build strength, and change that story ✨

As the trees begin to release their leaves and the earth prepares to slow down, we too are invited to turn inward, soften, and 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘨𝘰 🍂

The next four weeks will be an opportunity to slow down and align with the quiet beauty of the season.

Through mindful movement, we’ll explore postures that open the chest, creating space for deeper breath and clarity within.

🍁 Let’s move with intention, breathe with presence, and release what no longer serves — just as nature is doing all around us.

Hey Everyone,

Due to a change in commitments with my full time job, I will be making a slight change to my class schedule.
Monday's Slow (but strong) Flow will now take place on Wednesdays as of the week commencing 28th October.
I apologise to anyone who has been attending my Monday class and can’t make Wednesdays.

However, with the colder days now upon us, the tempo of my Seasonal Vinyasa class is mirroring nature’s energy. Autumn begins next week, the season to gather inward, in preparation to ‘let go’ for winter. The focus of our practice will be breath awareness, pranayama and gathering energy inwards, so you will have no problem with the pace of this class should Wednesdays not be suitable for you.
