Today, my year 11s smashed the Germany 1890 to 1945 exam. so proud of all of them!

It’s the Germany 1890 to 1945 AQA history paper tomorrow morning.

Key things to focus on:
1) Key people
2) Key events
3) key groups.

Exam technique, make sure you think what ways people were affected and how quickly for the 8 mark question?

Year 11 Historians smashed it today in their exam today! So proud of all of them!

Good luck to all students who are doing their first AQA exam tomorrow.

It’s the Cold War 1945-1972.

My advice keep it easy and simple:
1) So focus on key events such as the Hungarian Uprising and the Prague Spring
2) Remember the 16 mark question will focus on what increase tension the most in a certain decade and who was responsible for it
3) Make sure you refer to the source in the source based questions.

Lastly, get a good night sleep and have a good breakfast, you will awesome! 😀

Just a few tips for the exam on Thursday.

1) Look after yourself; do not overwork.
2) Keep it simple and easy. So focus on keywords, timeline and put key events into distinct timeframes.
3) Make sure you do short burst of revision and then rest in between as that will improve how much you will remember.
