🎶 Exploring Music Ahead of Armed Forces Day 🎶
This week, the children enjoyed a wonderful musical experience as part of our Armed Forces Day celebrations. We were kindly supported by a local band, who provided a variety of instruments for the children to explore and investigate.
The children had the opportunity to see and learn about a range of instruments, including a clarinet, bass drum, bells, and many more.
They listened carefully to the different sounds, discovered how instruments are played, and even had a go at creating their own music.
Music exploration helps children develop important skills such as listening and concentration, communication, confidence, creativity, and coordination. It also encourages curiosity and provides opportunities to express themselves in new and exciting ways. 🎺🥁🎵
