Antheas Childcare Childminder in Rustington,West Sussex I am 46 years old and have lived and worked in Rustington all my life. And of course my own children!!!!

I live in Hide Gardens with my husband, my 2 sons (17&22 ) our dog and 2 cats.My daughter works and lives away as a nanny. I decided to become a childminder after working as a childminding assistant for 2yrs, I found the job very rewarding and loved seeing the children develop and grow. My aim is to provide a professional but home from home safe and stimulating environment for children to play,lea

rn and have fun. Childcare experience:

Have been childminding since April 2011, prior to this I worked as a childminding assistant for 2yrs. I spent 3yrs working at Rustington Community Primary School as a midday meals supervisor. I helped out at Summerlea school quite often (trips,art days,reading ect...) Qualifications:

Level 3 in the children's and young people's workforce
Introduction to Childcare Practice (Home-based)
Level 2 in paediatric first aid
An introduction to child protection
Working with child protection issues
Childhood obesity and HENRY V2
Level 2 in food safety
Planning for next steps
NVQ Care level 2 in direct care
NVQ Care level 2 in residential/hospital support

This week some of the children attended a pet pals workshop, we also enjoyed finding some of the scarecrows on the Rustington scarecrow trail as well as our usual fun in the garden and local park 😃

Last week: trip to the beach, picnic in the park, kite flying and celebrating a birthday!
