Autumn walks and crafts, featuring The Gruffalo, wand making and some "potion trays" for Halloween.

The children have enjoyed exploring fine and gross motor skills to explore different resources and develop their own ideas.

With thanks to Rushden Library for their brilliant story sacks, providing the children with characters and toys to re-tell the story in their own way through play.

Transport arts and crafts at Crafty Fingers 🛻🚌

The little ones explored colour matching to create their own traffic lights, designed their own roads, built hot air balloons and used different shapes and stencils to create a train.

Across February we have been exploring mathematics through colours matching, shapes and counting with a range of tools to practice motor skills.
We have also been on a minibeast hunt searching for insects in their natural habitats and spotting clues of where animals and insects may live.
On wet days we've enjoyed soft play to expand on our gross motor skills and positional language through play
