A huge congratulations to our latest Volunteer of the Month, Shelagh! πŸ‘

Shelagh has been part of the Halton Haven Hospice family for over six years, generously giving her time to support both our Fundraising and Finance teams.

Much of Shelagh's work happens behind the scenes, helping to ensure donations and income are accurately recorded so that everything runs smoothly. While her contribution may not always be visible, it is invaluable to the Hospice and the care we provide.

One member of our Finance team summed it up perfectly:

"We'd be lost without Shelagh. She does so much for the Hospice that goes unnoticed, but we appreciate all she does."

Thank you, Shelagh, for your dedication, reliability, and the difference you make every single week. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our volunteer team. πŸ’œ

Why join our Twilight Memory Walk?

This year we are saying β€˜Walking for those who walk beside our hearts – together making a difference.’ It is a great chance to get together as a community, gives you space to talk, reflect and remember memories, or simply have a chat and a laugh with your friends and family. Although this is a memory walk, we encourage people to get dressed up, have a laugh and a boogie along the way – making it a great event for the whole family.

The ticket profits and fundraising donations go towards ensuring that Halton Haven Hospice can continue providing the best palliative and end-of-life care in our community. To join Twilight Memory Walk 2026 and be a part of making a difference visit https://www.haltonhaven.org.uk/the-events/twilight-walk-2026/ . πŸ’œ
