JUST 3 MORE SLEEPS until we welcome our new Year 7 students! We are SUPER excited!
If you haven’t already done so, please check your email regarding the welcome breakfast schedule so that your son or daughter attends the correct assembly with the rest of their form. We’d also like to remind students, parents and carers to use the main reception entrance on Wednesday morning.
Finally, don’t forget that all students will receive their OBA tie and pencil case.

Alumni spotlight

During his time at OBA Sixth Form, Chris took part in a wide range of enrichment activities, from Duke of Edinburgh, to the football team, to volunteering in Kenya.

Having studied a variety of subjects with us, including hairdressing, travel & tourism, and beauty and massage, Chris has gone on to start his career in cabin crew and acting.

Chris’ advice for new starters this September: “Travel the world, speak to people, and always network – you just never know what doors it may open.”

Chris' role has brought exciting opportunities, meeting diverse clients across the world. He’s also a freelance actor, and has featured in TV shows such as Peaky Blinders, Batman, and Brassic. Chris is putting his studies at OBA into practice and is a brilliant example of where OBA Sixth Form can take you.

Alumni spotlight

During his time at OBA Sixth Form, Will made the most of everything on offer - from the football team and Duke of Edinburgh to dragon boating and tutoring Year 11 maths.

After completing his studies at OBA in double business, IT, maths, and Greek, Will completed a degree in accounting and finance in Liverpool, and is now working as a personal trainer and online coach.

Will’s advice: “Try as many different things as you can while you’re young and stepping into the real world. Give each opportunity enough time to know whether it’s something you genuinely enjoy. If it doesn’t inspire you or make you want to keep improving, don’t be afraid to move on and try something new. That’s exactly what I did and today, I get to do what I was always meant to do.”
