We have been working really hard on our counting to 10 with objects.

This was a great little activity with lots of mathematical learning thrown in there x

When you find a park with not one, not two, not three, but four swings. They all loved swinging together.

The giggles are just priceless 😄 x

Three jellyfish just casually walking through the park 🪼

We have been focusing on the under the sea theme after a little one went to an aquarium over the summer and brought lots of pictures of different fish.

We decided to bring our physical activity out and about with us. Not only did we need to balance, we had to focus on our hand eye coordination and practice our direction skills.

The children absolutely loved twirling the umbrellas around.

Two out of three jellyfish survived 🤣 x

A simple sensory tuff tray play for the children.

We have been looking at different modes of transport.

Today we grouped and looked at the differences between land, sea and air vehicles.

Obviously the children enjoyed the sensory play more and following the lead of the children, we hid the vehicles and played I spy 🔍 x

The children are all interested in different modes of transport at the minute so we decided to take a trip to a park via the train.

We all sat beautifully waiting for the train and on the train.

We sang songs and practiced our slow and fast hands. We had a go at standing up on the train, it was very wobbly. So we stayed in our seats 🥰

We spotted tunnels and signs and listened out for the names of the stations we stopped at.

We counted how many people got on and how many people got off (until we got to the busy stations and we couldn't keep up) 😂

We did a short walk to the local park where there were lots of shaded spots for us to explore. We enjoyed hiding under the trees and playing hide and seek.

We ventured down to the river to watch the boats go by before returning back to the station and home for our lunch.

Just a trip to a park via a train brought lots of conversations. I love these kinds of days 🥰 x

After a lovely few weeks away with my little family. We absolutely recharged the batteries with lots of fun around the pool, lots siestas and lots of delicious food.

It was nice to just switch off and not have to think 🥰

We were very happy to welcome back our little stars this week. They were very much missed by all ⭐ x
