Over the past few weeks, we have been very productive.
Our main focus has been on enhancing fine motor skills and developing manipulation and control abilities. As the children began to take an interest in 'The Beach' over the summer, we chose to base our activities around this theme, encouraging exploration with various materials and even creating art using imitation sand!

Transition evening - August 2026 🎓

This evening, we hosted our new termly transition event for parents whose children are transitioning to the next room.
It was a valuable opportunity for parents to meet the new classroom team, address any concerns about the transition, understand their child’s routine in the new room, and familiarise themselves with the staff who will be caring for their children.
Parents were encouraged to ask questions, receive feedback on their child’s transition progress, and engage with the team.
We were delighted to welcome parents from all rooms and trust that they found the event informative. We appreciate your attendance and participation.
If you were unable to attend or wish to schedule a meeting with the new room's team, kindly message them via your Parent Admin account to arrange a convenient appointment.

This week for Friendship Day, the children in the Tweenies room explored the theme of friendships. Discussions centred around the importance of friends and ways to show kindness. To symbolise their bond, the children printed handprints to our Tweenies family tree.

This week our toddlers had a wonderful time exploring the garden! 🌿☀️
The children crawled through tunnels, zoomed around on the bike, and took turns climbing and sliding down the slide. These exciting outdoor activities helped build their confidence, develop their gross motor skills, and encouraged turn-taking, sharing, and imaginative play.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and opportunities to explore, discover, and enjoy the fresh air together. What a fantastic day of learning through play!

😎🌞Babies enjoyed our summer fun day! 🌞😎

Babies explored our digger tough tray using there fine and gross motor skills to move the diggers and to pick up the edible sand 🍚🚜
We had fun splashing in the water tray and using the cups to pour the water out and see it go through the holes. 🫗

The best part was watching the bubbles in the air, seeing if we could catch them. We liked it best when they popped for us! 🫧🫧
Most importantly we stayed hydrated by drinking lots of water 🥤
