At Mako Create we pride ourselves on accessibility. We deliver experiences which are suitable for learners of all levels and abilities. Mako Create, originally MakoEducation, was founded in 2011 by Sean O’Hare and Ian Pye, who specialise in delivering creative and digital training. After years of working with many local schools in Halton at the Widnes City Learner Centre, Sean and Ian set up their own organisation. This enabled them to deliver exciting digital arts and technology experiences to people from all walks of life including schools, businesses, community groups, and charities. After almost a decade of growing and developing Mako Create, it remains our mission to make creative digital activities and education more interactive, engaging, creative, fun, inspiring, and most definitely accessible – whether that’s online or in person through a MakoCreate outreach programme. Creativity is for everyone.
