Got home about 3am this morning from a fabulous hols but then it was time to unpack the truck this morning/afternoon as we were supposed to be Spring Lakes Watersports for the weekend to support Phill in the comp but me and M are rather knackered from the hols & what with sch/work next week we decided we’d stay home instead. At least I managed a ton of holiday washing & some batch cooking of veggie chilli. Marths and I love beans on toast but we aren’t ‘allowed’ it when Phill’s here as he doesn’t class it as tea!! So, whenever he’s not here we make the best beans on toast (in our opinion) with seeded rye bread, butter, has to be Branston Beans (never the H brand as too sweet) with cheese on top and some cracked black pepper. Tonight the beans on toast had a nod to the fab Dutch Roadtrip with some yummy Dutch cheese 🧀 😂 How do you have your ?
