At Lexify Tuition, we’re passionate about helping children and young people thrive. We specialise in dyslexia teaching and personalised tutoring for English and maths, tailored to meet the unique needs of every learner.

👋 Meet Julie O’Toole – Director of Lexify Tuition!

Hi, I’m Julie, a parent of two grown-up sons and a lifelong learner with a passion for education. My career journey has been diverse, combining experiences both inside and outside the classroom, each one teaching me something new and valuable!

🎓 A Little About Me:
I hold a BA (Hons) in European Business and French, during which I had the incredible opportunity to work and study in France and Belgium. My love for languages even took me to northern Spain, where I taught English and picked up Spanish – starting with a trusty little dictionary on my first market trip!

📚 My Path to Teaching:
After returning to England, I launched a French teaching business, working with both primary-aged children and adults. This experience, combined with raising my children, led me to a career spanning business and secondary education. I later pursued a PGCE in primary teaching and taught many pupils with special educational needs.

💡 The Turning Point:
While teaching, I worked with two children significantly behind in reading. Their struggles inspired me to dive into the world of dyslexia, eventually earning my qualification as a specialist dyslexia teacher. Watching those students proudly read a book by the end of the year remains one of my greatest joys!

🌟 Why Lexify Tuition?
Today, I bring together my experience as a linguist, teacher, and specialist dyslexia educator to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults. My goal is to empower each student to build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve success.
