***School closed today***
Due to the school and surrounding roads being unsafe because of ice, snow and freezing temperatures, The Revel is closed today. This includes Early Birds and Brinklow sites.

Parents of children due to start in reception in 2026, (and those considering us) are invited to this events at Monks Kirby. It's an opportunity to sample our outdoor learning ethos and see the main school site first hand for yourself. We look forward to seeing you there.

What a wonderful Leavers Graduation pic nic we had today 😊Thank you for joining us.
It was an emotional day for me with it being my last day 😔I have loved my four years at Early Birds. Thank you to all of you for your help & support.
Thank you for all the lovely gifts, cards & kind words. As a team we have been overwhelmed by your kindness & generosity 🥰

The Early Birds children have enjoyed sports week so far. They have been practising throwing & catching. Aiming bean bags in hoops. Using rackets & shuttlecocks. Using hula hoops & skipping ropes & testing out their balance skills on the pedal go 😄

For Todays Forest 🌳 🌲 school walk, we went to the lovely park in the village.
It was lovely to see the wild flowers 🌺 growing & the willow tunnels taking shape.

Please make sure children are appropriately dressed for the weather.

Make sure children arrive wearing suncream.

We will monitor the heat, sun & temperature through the day & stay inside when needed.

Staying hydrated-we will encourage the children to have water breaks 💦 throughout the day & top their bottles up when needed 😊
