🎉HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY TO US!🎉

11 YEARS of PQA Rugby! 🥹✨

As your very proud Principal, it’s honestly hard to put into words just how special this academy is to me. From our very first students to all the incredible young people who have walked through our doors over the years, we’ve created something truly special. 🎭🎬🎶

Last year, we had the BEST time celebrating our 10th birthday, and looking back at all the memories from that day makes me so proud of everything we’ve achieved together.

11 years of confidence, friendships, performances, films, laughter, challenges, achievements and so many magical PQA memories.

And the best part? We’re not finished yet! Here’s to another year of helping our students find their voices, believe in themselves and make memories they’ll never forget. ✨

Happy 11th Birthday, PQA Rugby! 🎂🎉

Here’s to the next chapter… 💙

Saturday we had completed our POPSICALS project! This was our little student-led Popsicals project!

It was so lovely to see just how much the students have grown in confidence and creativity. We loved watching them take ownership of their ideas and bring their own music videos to life through acting, song, physical theatre, their own choreography and lots of teamwork.

The project was all about giving the students the opportunity to be creative, make their own choices and work together and they did such a fantastic job!

Well done to all of our students for throwing themselves into it and showing us what they can do! 👏🎭🎶

📚✨ Happy Roald Dahl Day! ✨📚 Today, we’re celebrating one of the world’s most beloved storytellers, Roald Dahl! From wonderfully weird characters to mischievous adventures and stories that spark the imagination, his work has inspired generations of young readers.

At PQA, we love bringing those stories to life on stage! 🎭

Our exciting project, Roald Dahl’s Twisted Tales, takes the original words and adaptations of Roald Dahl’s much-loved works and gives PQA students the chance to step into his wonderfully imaginative world. Our students also do amazing performances of the theatre show, Matilda!

Meet our new drama AM teacher Liam!

Liam is a passionate performer and Drama teacher with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre and a PGCE in Secondary Drama. Having performed from a young age, Liam has appeared in a wide range of productions throughout his training, including Sweeney Todd, RENT, Godspell and Grease, taking on a variety of leading roles.

Alongside performing, Liam has developed a passion for directing and working with young people. He has directed Matilda with Elevate Youth Theatre in Coventry and Spring Awakening: The Musical during his time at university. Most recently, Liam returned from travelling around Australia, where he worked as a supply Performing Arts teacher and directed a school’s summer showcase performance.

When he isn’t teaching or performing, Liam enjoys singing, playing rugby and travelling. He is excited to share his passion for Comedy and Drama with the young people at PQA and help inspire the next generation of performers.
