Princethorpe College is welcoming plenty of new faces this Michaelmas Term. In addition to all its new pupils, the school has a number of new staff joining the team, including a number of Old Princethorpians. Pictured here on their Induction Day, our new staff are enjoying an informative and busy start to their time at Princethorpe. Pupils at Princethorpe College are celebrating after receiving excellent GCSE results. This year, just under half of all entries were awarded the coveted 9, 8 or 7 grades and almost a third of the cohort of 132 pupils achieved an incredible eight or more 9, 8 or 7 grades.
Headmaster, Grove du Toit, said, “We could not be prouder of our Year 11 pupils, all the smiles and excitement this morning are so well deserved. They have worked extremely hard, and we applaud each and every pupil’s individual success and achievement. All credit goes to our pupils and to our staff who have supported them every step of the way. The College continues to go from strength to strength, and we look forward to welcoming the vast majority of this cohort back into our Sixth Form for the next stage of their education.”

GCSE Results Day is almost upon us and the long wait for Year 11s is nearly over. We wish the very best of luck to everyone receiving their results tomorrow.
If studying in the Sixth Form at Princethorpe is of interest to you, either for 2026 or beyond, please do get in touch to discuss entry requirements. Recent Department for Education data showed that Princethorpe's Sixth Form students make some of the best A-level progress in the region.
For current pupils, school will be open from 8.30am tomorrow, Thursday 20 August, for Year 11 to collect their results. Staff will be on hand for advice and support on Sixth Form options.
For those unable to come into the College, the results will be published to My School Portal at 10.00am and pupils can log in to receive their results there. Any results uncollected on the day will be posted to the pupil’s home address.
Lower Sixth offer holders from other schools should contact the Registrars on 01926 634201/297 when they have received their grades.

Once again, Sixth Formers at Princethorpe College are celebrating an excellent set of A-level results. This summer, a bumper cohort of 130 students sat A-level and BTEC examinations and completed the Extended Project Qualification. Continuing the strong performances of previous years, two thirds of all grades awarded were A*- B, with more than a third being A*- A. 17 Sixth Formers achieved three or more A* or A grades, but the College recognises and applauds every individual’s story of achievement, whatever that may be.
Grove du Toit, Headmaster, said, “We are extremely proud of this group of young people. They have worked incredibly hard and deserve these results. It was wonderful to see their excitement this morning, and we congratulate them all on their well-deserved success."

Sending positive thoughts to all receiving their A-level results tomorrow!
A reminder that Princethorpe College will be open from 8.00am on Thursday 13 August for Upper Sixth students to collect their A-level and BTEC results from the Sixth Form Centre. Sixth Form staff will be on hand for advice and guidance and refreshments will be available.
Online access: For students unable to come into College, A-level and BTEC results will be published to My School Portal at 9.00am. Please note that results cannot be given out over the telephone.
