In the last post I completely forgot to mention the new flooring in the children's bathroom. Again, this was paid for using fundraising money.

Our next big project is to replace our sunshade with an 'all weather' shelter. This will keep the children dry in wet conditions and provide shelter from the sun.

Our new heating and water system is now fully installed and working beautifully.

Thanks to Dave Stretton (Stretton Plumbing) for completing the work on time and to such a high standard.

Thank you to our hardworking fundraising team, parents and community for helping us to raise the money for the improvements.

Finally, thank you to Granscape for supporting the project and awarding us £4000 towards the work.

We can finally share some exciting news! From September 2024, Kilsby Preschool will officially become part of Kilsby CE Primary School. This merger will safeguard the future of our much loved preschool and provide secure jobs for the staff.

We are holding a Q&A session on Wednesday 22nd May at 6pm for anyone that would like to come down and talk through what is going to happen. Please see the attached letter for further details.

Sending our very best wishes to our former Kilsby Preschooler, Addie, who is raising money for Little Princess Trust to help children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions. A very worthwhile cause and we wish you all the best with your fundraising!

3 years ago, Addie tragically lost her Dad to Bowel Cancer.

Now aged 5 Addie has asked that the hair from her first proper haircut is donated to children with Cancer.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.

A big 'Thank you' to our hardworking fundraising committee and volunteers for organising a fantastic Easter trail. Thank you to everyone for coming down to support it. Your support is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

All proceeds will be going towards a new heating and hot water system for preschool.
