🌟 **Become a Co-opted Governor at BLJS** 🌟
Are you passionate about education and making a difference in your local community?
BLJS is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Governing Board as **Co-opted Governors**.
As a governor, you'll work alongside school leaders to help shape the school's future, support high-quality education, and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. You don't need to be an education expert—we're looking for people with a range of skills, experiences, and perspectives who are willing to ask questions, offer support, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
**We're looking for people who can offer:**
✅ A commitment to improving outcomes for children
✅ Strategic thinking and good communication skills
✅ Time to attend meetings and support the work of the governing board
✅ Experience in areas such as finance, HR, education, business, legal, marketing, IT, or community engagement is welcomed—but not essential.
This is a voluntary role that offers the opportunity to develop new skills, broaden your experience, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
If you'd like to find out more or express your interest, please get in touch with us. We'd love to hear from you! A Nomination letter and form can be found on our website:
