The phrase I learnt after having to say goodbye to my 5 day old daughter whilst looking after my 2 year old who didn’t understand what had just happened. 💔

On 10 October 2026, during Baby Loss Awareness Week, I’ll be walking 20 miles around Ullswater to mark the 10-year anniversary of her life : and I’m inviting others to walk with me. ⛰️🙏

We’re raising money for two incredible causes:

Shine a Light: supporting children and young people affected by cancer. Providing counselling, play therapy, and vital support for families navigating the unimaginable. www.shinealight.uk 💜

Freddie’s Wish: helping those who have lost a baby or child of any age and offer support and care when needed. They help bereaved parents access fully funded bereavement support and counselling and also run regular parent and child first aid courses www.freddieswish.org 💙

20 miles. One lake. One day. One group walking for those who can’t walk for themselves.

Your body will force you to stop if you don’t..

You get the virus doing the rounds, unexplainable fatigue.. or even an accidental injury… just at the time when your body needed that rest 😩

So why wait to "fix" burnout after it happens? 🤷‍♀️

If you’re leaking energy... you may not even know where the holes are... 👀

High performance isn't about pushing through until you break... It's about building a SHIELD before the first crack appears 💪

Most people wait until they’re completely empty to start looking for solutions... but by then, you’re making decisions from a place of survival, not strategy... 👉

You need an audit... A protection plan... A way to ensure your mental strength isn’t being drained by those "invisible" leaks that then cause your body to say stop! ✋

So where are you leaking energy?

And that’s fine as long as you’re not waiting to feel ready.. 👀

I didn’t know I was ready to take on my own premises until I signed the paperwork nearly a year ago.. 🎉

I didn’t look for the space
