FACT FRIDAY - WEEK 13 🌱
Nesting bird season is well underway, and most of you might already have heard the birds singing to attract mates and seen them flittering here and there gathering materials to build their nests for the first clutches of the year.
The Common Whitethroat (Curruca communis), pictured here by Alan Stewart, is a migrant species found across the UK between April and October, often overwintering in Africa. Pretty impressive for a bird the size of a Great Tit!
