🌟 We’re Platinum! 🌟
We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been awarded the Road Safety Education Team Platinum Award 2025–2026 in recognition of our commitment to promoting road safety and helping our children develop the knowledge and skills to stay safe in their community.

This fantastic achievement would not have been possible without the dedication, enthusiasm and hard work of Miss Sprayson and Mrs Towers, who have led our road safety initiatives throughout the year. Their commitment to educating and empowering our pupils has helped make road safety an important part of school life.

A huge well done to all of our children, staff and families who have supported these important messages and activities. Together, we are helping to keep our community safe.

🍦 Ice Cream This Friday! 🍦

The Friends of Bawnmore (FOB) have arranged for an ice cream van to visit the playground from 3:00pm on Friday.

Families from across BCF are warmly invited to come onto the playground after school to purchase an ice cream and enjoy a Friday treat together.

🌞 Join Us for a Wonderful Afternoon at Bilton House! 🌞
We're delighted to share that at 2.30pm, the Bilton C of E Junior School choir will be performing as part of the Bilton House 80th Anniversary Celebrations.
As you may have heard, we have been invited to join them in singing one of our favourite songs, "Power in Me". 🎶
🎵 All Year 1 and Year 2 pupils are warmly invited to take part.
And there's more! If we have enough Bawnmore children attending, we will also perform "Sing" by Gary Barlow – a treat not to be missed!
Whether your child is singing or simply coming along to enjoy the festivities, why not join us for what promises to be a lovely afternoon of music, celebration and sunshine.

Hello everyone,
We have received a message from Rugby Foodbank asking for our support. As the summer holidays approach, their shelves are currently very low, and they are keen to ensure they can continue helping local families who may need a little extra support over the break.
We would love to come together as a school community to support this important cause with a simple end-of-term collection.
We completely understand that this is a busy time of year, so any contribution, big or small, would be very much appreciated. Donations can be brought to the office or children can bring them into class with them.

Last Friday, we had a fantastic time celebrating Father’s Day with our male carers and father figures! They joined us for a special breakfast before getting stuck into two lively PE sessions with the children. It certainly was hard work in the heat- but thankfully not quite as hot as it’s been this week! ☀️💪

Following on from Monday’s celebration of Jenni Brooks’ fantastic achievement, we are delighted to share more wonderful news from our team…
🎉 Congratulations to Alisha Cairnie on passing her Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship with MERIT! 🎉
Miss Cairnie joined Bawnmore straight from school as an apprentice, and she has risen to the challenge brilliantly. Throughout her journey, she has shown real dedication, resilience and a genuine passion for working with children.
Her high-quality interactions have not gone unnoticed, receiving praise from both Ofsted and Warwickshire LA’s Early Years Advisor, which is a huge testament to her skill and commitment.
Miss Cairnie truly is an asset to our team, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved 🤍
Here’s what she had to say about her journey:
“I am delighted to have completed my Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. The journey has included both challenges and successes, which have helped me develop my skills, knowledge, and confidence in my role.
