This year’s event will be held at James Peacock School where it all started!

This week we celebrated National Poetry Day with a visit from poet Attie Lime. Thank you to Friends of James Peacock for funding this experience. Attie’s visit was inspiring and her workshops were pitched at exactly the correct level to get all of our children from Nursery through to Year Two reciting, enjoying and creating poetry. The children were inspired and went on to create some wonderful poems of their own.

The chocolate tombola is always fun. And we will also have a small selection of preloved uniform for sale.
If you have ordered uniform from us, it will be ready to collect at the stall.

Opal Play and Mud – A Message for Families

At our school, we’re proud to be part of the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) program, which transforms playtimes into rich, inclusive experiences that help children grow through creativity, cooperation, and exploration. One of the most loved aspects of OPAL is mud play—especially in our mud kitchens!

With all the recent rain, our outdoor spaces have become wonderfully muddy, and the children are absolutely loving it! Mud play is not just fun—it helps develop imagination, life skills, and a deeper connection with nature.
To help keep everyone comfortable and happy:

Please send spare clothes to school with your child. If your child is a mud enthusiast, they might need more than one spare outfit.
Extra socks are especially useful—just a few pairs in their bag can make a big difference.
If you have any spare socks to donate, we’d be very grateful!

Our stock of spares is running low.
