This term, our amazing young gardeners have had a wonderful time learning some brilliant new skills and enjoying the outdoors. From sowing seeds to mastering the art of thinning seedlings to help them grow big and strong, they’ve looked after our plants with so much care.

They’ve also come up with some incredible ideas on how we can develop our outside space, and they have already created a 'No Mow Zone' in our school grounds!

As part of their geography learning, Year 5/6 went out into the village on Thursday to conduct a traffic survey. They were very excited to count the vehicles travelling through the village and were especially enthusiastic to see so many different types of vehicles! Primary Knowledge Curriculum

Year 5/6 made pitta bread as part of their DT cooking learning about flatbreads. They learned how to activate yeast, knead their dough and leave it to rise before carefully pressing their dough into the correct shape and cooking their bread at a high temperature to create the pitta bread’s pocket.
