I am a fully qualified primary teacher with several years’ experience in the classroom as well as one year as a private tutor already. During this time, I have worked with children from every year group at primary level including neurodiverse children (including ADHD, ASD & Dyslexia). I am fully DBS checke

All children are different and sometimes we all need a bit of tailored support. I aim to offer tutoring that is unique and specific to your child’s needs – whether it is to work on a significant gap in their learning or simply a bit of extra support to give them that little push. I take great pride in getting to know my pupils well which enables me to tailor a tutoring program which they will find relatable and accessible. In order to do this, I offer a free consultation with the pupil and parents to discuss the potential areas of focus and ensure that everyone is happy with the program before commencing. I have in the past worked with pupils to improve their Maths and Literacy (both KS1 and KS2), verbal & non-verbal reasoning, creative writing, composition skills, essay skills and exam preparation. With so many private tutoring companies around and the price of private tutoring being an important factor to consider, it is natural to want to ensure that you are getting good value for your money. With this in mind, in addition to the promise of a bespoke program tailored to your child I also offer several incentives to use OP tuition:
1) A free no obligation consultation before any tutoring begins – this is an opportunity to discuss your child’s specific areas to focus on during tuition and it also provides a chance for you and your child to meet me in the comfort of your own home (or on zoom if you prefer) before proceeding.
2) As an introductory offer, the first 5 hours of tuition booked with me will be at a discounted price of £20 per hour. £25 per hour will be the price for all subsequent sessions. I am happy to accept bulk bookings of 5 or 10 sessions at a time but I also offer a session by session booking system if that is preferable.
3) I am flexible with bookings and I aim to offer sessions after school hours, at weekends and during school holidays. There is also potential for space during normal schooling hours (Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:00pm) but this can be discussed at the consultation.
4) Sessions will take place in your home with all current government guidelines relating to social distancing being adhered to. I am happy to offer remote sessions over Zoom if this is what you would prefer.
