Our children truly benefit from spending time in our sensory room ✨ The sensory room aids in emotional regulation and creates a sense of calm for children to relax and better understand their emotions 🤔 For children to self-regulate, it involves a process of co-regulation, where they need a supportive and understanding adult to help them reach equilibrium and balance their emotions ⚖️ Our team is selected not only for their experience or qualifications but also for their personal attributes such as patience, understanding, and the ability to listen to each child in our care👂❤️

Last week, the children celebrated Diwali at nursery with our wonderful Richa ❤️ She arrived in her beautiful sari and jewellery, showing the children and even bringing her children's celebration clothes for them to try on, which they adored 🥰 After dressing up and having a glittery bindi placed on their heads, the children listened attentively as Richa shared the story of Diwali, explaining its significance and traditions 📖 Richa also showcased lovely decorations and Diya candles used in Diwali, including Rangoli patterns, garlands, and floating gold Diyas 😍 Some children tried making and colouring Rangoli patterns, while others painted Diyas or crafted them 👩🎨 Happy Diwali, everyone! 🪔
