β½ Weβve been getting into the football spirit today!
The children enjoyed watching the game together, cheering on the Three Lions and joining in with the excitement. We explored football through a variety of fun, hands-on activities, including making our very own England hats, getting creative with football-themed arts and crafts, and enjoying sensory rice play filled with footballs, flags and team colours.
We also had lots of fun learning the famous chant, βItβs Coming Home!β, singing it together and talking about what it means to support a team.
It has been wonderful to see everyone so engaged, showing great enthusiasm, encouraging one another and celebrating together. Weβre all looking forward to cheering England tomorrow against Norway! Come on, England! β€οΈπ€β½

The children explored and enjoyed a variety of experiences including planting flowers, sensory flower play, themed tuff trays, and outdoor adventures searching for bees in nature. πΈπ
These activities helped encourage curiosity, creativity, and conversations about the important role bees play in our environment and how we can help protect them. ππ
A huge thank you to our amazing Sue for preparing the fantastic bee-themed treats for everyone to enjoy β they were absolutely delicious and the perfect addition to our special day! π―π§
We loved seeing the children so engaged, excited, and eager to learn throughout the day. What a lovely way to celebrate and appreciate our busy little pollinators! πβ¨
