Year 12 have been keeping busy since finishing their exams.

They headed down to Camber for a beach clean, doing their bit for the local environment, before swapping the coast for the kitchen and spending time in Food Tech making curries.

A brilliant mix of fresh air, teamwork and practical skills, with plenty to show for it at the end.

After a heatwave postponement, Year 6 finally got their moment on stage for The Wrong Way Round, and they absolutely smashed it!

There were chills, slime, retro dance moves and so much energy from the whole cast. A huge well done to everyone involved for pulling it off so brilliantly, even after such a dramatic build-up.

Year 5 had a wonderful trip to Riverhill Himalayan Gardens, where they were able to apply their science knowledge of plant reproduction while exploring the beautiful gardens.

They also created natural artwork inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, using the colours, shapes and textures around them to inspire their designs.

With the sun shining, we were all very grateful for the breeze as we made the most of the shade, the gardens and a lovely day of outdoor learning.

A final hurrah for our Year 11s now that GCSEs are done.

It was lovely to see them dressed up and marking the end of this chapter together before they move on to new adventures. We are so proud of all they have achieved and wish them every success for the future.

After a very busy and very hot week, there was only one sensible way to end it… the annual Beechwood Prep Water Battle!

Fountain Lawn became a scene of splash-filled chaos, with water pistols, buckets and some very enthusiastic aim from pupils and staff. Loud, wet, and exactly what everyone needed!
