🧡🎨 Orange Day in Preschool! 🎨🧡
On Tuesday, our preschool children had a colourful and creative time celebrating Orange Day! 🍊🧡
We set up a vibrant colour-mixing tuff tray, covered in red and yellow paint, with trays of paint, paintbrushes and a variety of orange-themed materials for the children to explore. 🎨🖌️
The children experimented with mixing red and yellow together to discover how they could create orange, using their brushes and hands to investigate the different colours, textures and materials. 🧡✨
This activity was a fantastic opportunity to develop fine motor skills, creativity, sensory exploration and an understanding of colour mixing, while having lots of messy fun! 🍊🌈

Our little explorers had a fin-tastic time celebrating Under the Sea Day! 🌊💙
The babies enjoyed a sensory painting activity using paint between cling film, allowing them to squish, mix and move the colours around without getting too messy! 🎨✨ They then used different sea animal shapes on top to explore the colours and create their own underwater-inspired artwork. 🐟🐳🐙
It was a wonderful way to encourage sensory exploration, colour recognition, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, all while having lots of fun! 💕🫧

🌊🐠 Under the Sea Adventures! 🐙🐚
Our preschoolers have been diving deep into an exciting Under the Sea themed tuff tray! 🌊💙
The children used their imaginations to explore the ocean, discovering lots of sea creatures including 🐢 turtles, 🦈 sharks, 🐙 octopuses, 🐠 fish and 🐬 dolphins. They enjoyed splashing, scooping and creating their own little ocean adventures using water, sand, bubbles and loose parts.
Activities like this encourage sensory exploration, imaginative play, communication, fine motor skills and cooperative play, all while having lots of fun! 🥰
We think our little explorers had a whale of a time! 🐋💙✨

Today our preschoolers worked on their early writing skills with a fun fruits and vegetables activity! 🌱
The children first practised their letter formation by tracing over the names of different fruits and vegetables, carefully following each letter. They then had a go at writing the words independently, using what they had learned. ✍️✨
This activity was a fantastic way to support their fine motor skills, pencil control, letter recognition and confidence with early writing — all while learning about some of their favourite healthy foods! 🍓🍌🌽
We were so proud of the effort and concentration everyone showed! 💚👏

🍎🥕 Fruits & Vegetables Day in Preschool! 🌱
Our preschoolers got stuck into a fun cutting and sticking activity today! ✂️🖍️ They had to carefully cut out different fruits and vegetables before sorting them into two groups — “grows above ground” 🌿 and “grows under ground” 🌱.
This was a great opportunity to develop their fine motor skills, scissor control and concentration, while also learning more about where our food comes from. 🍓🥦🥔
We loved seeing the children talk about their choices and share what they already knew about fruits and vegetables! 💚

🦷🪥 Learning All About Brushing Our Teeth! 🪥🦷
As part of Dental Hygiene Day, our preschoolers enjoyed a fun sequencing activity all about how to brush our teeth! 😁✨
The children had to look carefully at the different pictures and work out the correct order — from getting our toothbrush ready, to brushing our teeth and rinsing afterwards. 🪥💦
We also talked about why brushing our teeth is important and how we can look after our smiles every day. The children were fantastic at thinking about what comes first, next and last, while developing their communication, problem-solving and sequencing skills. 💭👏
A fun way to learn about healthy habits while making sure our little smiles stay bright! 🌟😁

🦷✨ Dental Hygiene Day in Preschool! ✨🦷
On Tuesday, our preschoolers celebrated Dental Hygiene Day by learning all about the importance of looking after our teeth! 🪥😁
We talked about why we brush our teeth, how brushing helps to keep our teeth clean and healthy, and why visiting the dentist is so important. 🦷💙
The children then got hands-on with a fun cleaning teeth activity, using brushes to scrub away the “dirt” and practise the motions we use when brushing our own teeth. 🪥✨ They loved getting stuck in and seeing their teeth become nice and clean!
A fun, practical way to encourage healthy habits and help our little ones understand that brushing twice a day keeps those smiles shining! 🌟😁

🌻✨ Sunflower Day in Preschool! ✨🌻
Our preschoolers have been getting creative and connecting their artwork with nature! 🎨🌱
The children first had lots of fun decorating their very own plant pots using glue and glitter, making each one completely unique and sparkly. ✨ Once their pots had dried, they were ready for the next exciting part — planting their own sunflower seeds for Sunflower Day! 🌻
The children carefully filled their pots with soil, planted their seeds and talked about what plants need to grow and thrive, including sunlight, water and lots of care. 💧☀️🌱
We can't wait to watch our little sunflowers grow and see whose gets the tallest! 🌻💛
