That’s a wrap for this school year 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣

Thank you to all of our children and parents for attending our 2026 graduation today.

We are all so proud of every child and we wish you all the best in your transition to big school in September.

I think we can all agree that all the staff at little leaders who spend every day supporting all the children, helping them grow and shaping their little minds are absolutely phenomenal. Thank you to each and everyone of my little leaders staff without you all it wouldn’t be possible.

Have a great summer break everyone and for the children returning in September we will see you when we re open which is 3rd September 2026,

Many thanks

Morgan 🤍

🚨Amber Weather Warning in Place for Next Week 🚨

Due to the forecast extreme heat, we have to follow and implement our Extreme Heat Risk Assessment to help reduce the risk of heat exhaustion and keep all children safe.

We understand that some families may prefer to keep their child at home or arrange a shorter day during the hot weather. If this is the case, please contact us each morning so that we can record the absence as authorised.

☀️ Stay safe and keep cool! ☀️

With the weather warming up nicely, please ensure you child comes to nursery with…

☀️ suncream already applied☀️
🧢a NAMED sun hat 👒
💦NAMED water bottle💦

❗️Sometimes it’s useful to bring in a named sun hat and leave at nursery in our hat bucket to save it getting lost between nursery and home. ❗️

🚨🚨Remember if the UV’s are above 3, suncream is a MUST !! 🚨🚨

Thank you for your cooperation🙏

⭐️We are pleased to announce our PHOTO DAY⭐️

📸Tuesday 30th June 2026 📸

Children attending the morning session will automatically have their photographs taken. This will include an individual photograph for every child and a graduation photograph for children who will be leaving to start school this year.

If your child does not attend on this day, please bring them to the nursery between 11.30am and 12pm to have their photographs taken.

In this case, a parent or carer must remain with their child throughout the photography session. Please let us know if you wish to attend, as we may need to extend the opening time for this slot. No time slot will be needed.

Children who are attending their usual nursery session will be supervised by staff and do not require a parent or carer to be present.

Many thanks,

Little Leaders Team.

Today has been an incredibly emotional day for all of the staff and children here at Little Leaders Daycare, as we said goodbye to someone who has become such a special part of our nursery family. After two wonderful years with us while studying towards her childcare qualifications, our lovely Milly has officially finished her journey with us.

Milly, it is hard to put into words just how grateful we are for everything you have brought to Little Leaders Daycare. From the very beginning, you showed such natural warmth, kindness, and dedication in everything you did. Your ability to use your initiative, step in wherever needed, and support both staff and children never went unnoticed. You have been such a dependable, caring, and positive presence every single day.

The love and compassion you show the children is truly something special. You have built such beautiful bonds with them, helping them feel safe, happy, confident, and loved. Your patience, gentle nature, and nurturing personality have made such a lasting impact on every child in your care, and there is no doubt they will miss seeing your smile and hearing your comforting words each day.

Not only have you been amazing with the children, but you have also been an incredible support to the whole team. No task was ever too much, and you were always the first to offer help, encouragement, or simply brighten the room with your positivity. Your hard work, commitment, and passion for childcare have shone through in everything you have done.

Watching you grow in confidence and flourish over the last two years has been such a privilege for us all. We are so proud of everything you have achieved and of the caring, talented young woman you have become. Although we are incredibly sad to see you leave, we know you have such a bright future ahead of you, and whichever setting is lucky enough to have you next will truly gain someone very special.

Thank you, Milly, for all of the memories, laughter, care, and love you have given to Little Leaders Daycare. You will always hold a special place in our hearts, and you will be deeply missed by both the staff and children.

We wish you all the happiness and success in the world for your next chapter. Never forget how valued and appreciated you are. 💖

We hope you’ve all had a lovely long weekend and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back after the bank holiday!

You may notice that we’ve installed a new ring doorbell on the nursery entrance. If the door is closed, please use the doorbell when dropping off or collecting your child.

Thank you for bearing with us while we get used to this new system. It will help us see who is at the door and allow us to prepare your child more efficiently, reducing waiting time for everyone.

Thank you for you patience and support

☀️ Sun Safety Reminder ☀️

Some of you may have noticed children coming home from nursery with sun cream on. Which is crazy to think we are only in April !

As a nursery, we follow statutory guidance around UV levels to help keep all children safe while enjoying time outdoors.

Even on days where it may look overcast, UV levels can still be high, so sun protection is really important.

We kindly ask that parents check the UV level each day and apply sun cream before bringing your child into nursery if the UV level is above 3 during their session.

This helps us get the children outside sooner, before UV levels rise to potentially unsafe levels as the days get warmer.

We will be asking on days where UV is high if your child has suncream on and mark it off on our suncream list. (If your child comes into nursery without suncream on and the levels are high, we will be asking you to apply suncream at the door before coming in)

For children attending all day, we will reapply sun cream at lunchtime ready for the afternoon session, where needed.

You can check the daily UV levels using weather apps or websites such as the Met Office or BBC Weather.

Please don’t forget a named sun hat, and water bottle.

Thank you for your support in keeping the children safe in the sun!
