Wickersley Partnership Trust (WPT) is a multi-academy trust comprising of eight primary schools and five secondary schools.

We are a multi-academy trust with five secondary schools, eight primary schools, one sixth form and multiple additional resource provisions - dotted across Rotherham and Gainsborough. Our mission is to send all young people into an ever-changing world, able and qualified to play their full part in it. To do that, we create ambitious and inclusive learning environments where every child can reach their full potential. We believe in the power of education to transform lives, strengthen communities and open doors to opportunity - regardless of background or starting point. Through collaboration across our schools, investment in our people and a relentless focus on high standards, we work together to ensure every student receives the support and experience they need to succeed.

Thank you to all the prospective students and families who attended our Trust secondary Open Evenings last night.

Throughout the evening, visitors explored our subject areas, met with teaching staff, and experienced our subjects firsthand through interactive activities. Families also gained valuable insight into our ambitious curriculum, pastoral support networks, and broad enrichment offering.

Everything demonstrated during the evening reflects our core Trust mission: to send all young people into an ever-changing world, able and qualified to play their full part in it.

Once again, thank you to everyone who came along, and to all of the staff and students who made these events such a success.

We're looking forward to welcoming many of the Y6 students back to our schools during the Transition period next summer!

On Friday 18th September, schools across Wickersley Partnership Trust came together to celebrate Rotherham Day, giving students the opportunity to learn more about their local area, celebrate its history and heritage, and show their pride in being part of the Rotherham community.

Across the Trust, students took part in a fantastic range of activities. Many schools dressed in red for the occasion and explored maps of Rotherham, discovered local landmarks and places of interest, and shared what they already knew about their town.

Rotherham Day was also a fantastic opportunity to bring schools together through sport and physical activity. Rotherham School Games held a special multi-skills sports event, bringing primary schools from across the Trust together to take part in a range of activities, including golf, badminton and fitness circuits. The event encouraged pupils to be active, try new sports and develop their teamwork and physical skills while celebrating their connection to Rotherham.

A huge thank you to Osh Gosh Gowns for generously donating 10 beautiful prom dresses to our WPT Prom Bank.

This contribution will open up even more opportunities for our Year 11 students, ensuring every young person can feel confident, included and ready to enjoy their special night.

After investing in a number of building works, we’re proud to open the Brunswick Centre, our new purpose‑built home for WPT’s additional resource provision, formerly known as the Cranworth Centre.

Designed to support SEND students who benefit from a more personalised and flexible approach, the Centre offers specialist spaces including a sensory room, cooking room, English, Maths and Science classrooms, an Art room and an assembly space for group activities. A new construction room is also being developed to provide hands‑on practical learning.

The Brunswick Centre reflects our commitment to high‑quality, inclusive SEND provision, offering a welcoming space where students access personalised support that builds confidence, develops new skills and helps them make strong progress outside of mainstream settings.
