What a summer adventure it’s been!
We’ve had such a wonderful time travelling across Rotherham telling the tale of What the Ladybird Heard! 📚🐞
From Ferham to Swinton, Maltby to Aston and lots of places in between, we’ve met lots of amazing children and families, shared stories, got creative and had plenty of fun!
A huge thank you to all the Family Hub staff who have welcomed us and helped make every workshop feel special. We’ve enjoyed visiting you all. With special thanks to Macmillan Children’s Books for gifting each hub with their very own copies of What The Ladybird Heard.
Our adventure isn’t over just yet…
Come and join us for our final workshop of the summer!

To those receiving their GCSE results today, Grimm & Co is sending some EXTRA MAGIC your way ✨
Remember: No matter what, you're more than a number on a piece of paper.

At Grimm & Co, we have a lot of magical creatures visit our Emporium of Stories, but it was the first time we'd ever had THE White Rabbit (Of Wonderland fame) visit - and for Ever After no less.
Of course, he was running late, but he was great company for tea ☕️ Who do you think we should invite down next? Make sure to book your tickets to Ever After for more adventures with your young ones: https://grimmandco.co.uk/ever_after/

EDIT: This programme is for young people aged 11 - 18.
Step inside Grimm & Co and become a story-keeper of the building's hidden history. Across six magical sessions, you'll uncover real archive treasures - old photographs, a newspaper from 1910, and more!
Learn techniques in paper cutting, storyboarding and designing moving shadow puppets... then breathe new life into them using shadows, light and your own imagination!
Then, you will share your ideas with a professional artist to turn your work into a brand new art installation.
No writing experience or craft skills needed, just curiosity and a willingness to listen to stories hiding in the dark!
