It's been a week since the Festival of Stories but we're not slowing down!
Refugee Week starts next, June 15th and we're going to be celebrating alongside it. We will continue to share our Simple Acts and we already have plenty of events for you to book onto.

Celebrating 150 years of Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity the Pride of Yorkshire has arrived at Grimm & Co and is free to view up until September!
Make sure to head over to witness the 4 cubs from the Little Pride.
Will you come and say hi?
Picture this, its May half term, you and your friends are walking through town and are approached by a dragon. You're at Clifton Park and get assaulted by a *soft drink* spitting falcon and witness the legend of the Archer who shot down the sun in the form of shadow puppets. That was the Festival of Stories 2026. And there was so much more.
Our boss, Graham, said he wanted to go big this year, bring the imagination to the children of Rotherham and beyond. I reckon we just about managed it.
Thank you to everyone that attended. Now, what's next?

For todayβs simple Act: Move Together - create your own pathways at home, in the garden, or at the park using anything you can find β then get your shoes exploring! Inspired by Josephineβs journey in our Festival of Stories movement workshop, The Girl, The Bear and the Magic Shoes. Where could your shoes take you? For Refugee Week, by creating pathways and imagining the tales your shoes could tell, why not have a go at sharing your story with a friend or family member.
