Join us for a FREE sensory session for children aged 0–3 years and their grown-ups, where we’ll explore the colour silver, discover shiny things and have fun with all things robots and mechanical!

Not only is it Black History Month, but it is also National Poetry Day, and we wanted to highlight black writers and poets.
Poetry provides a unique lens on the world via the poet’s insight and their life experiences, helping us learn more and enjoy beauty in all its forms ❤

Black History Month is an annual celebration of black people's culture, heritage, art and voices. At Grimm & Co, we want to look at the history being made today by black authors.
Black main characters rarely make the limelight in popular novels, so we want to shout out some stories for you to celebrate black history all year long!
Firstly, we're starting with Brielle and Bear by Salomey Doku .dokuillo , a fairytale-romance with cosy vibes that are perfect for Autumn.
We stock copies in our shop, or you can find it online, as well as her other works.

We're hosting spooktacular October half-term storytelling activities, with the first of several events kicking off on October 17th with the Firework Maker's Daughter, and carrying on from 27th October with even more bright ideas 💡

After a long summer on the road, visiting all the Family centres in Rotherham, we’re taking all the animals to the vets!

Through sensory play, role play and lots of imagination, we’ll be exploring:

💗 How do we care for a creature?
💗 What do our teddies need to feel safe, happy and loved?

💗 What does it take to look after something?

Join us as we explore caring, nurturing and looking after others through play. Get your teddy ready for their check-up! 🩺🐻 Suitable for children aged 0–3 years.

Come and get cosy in the Den of Daydreams for this special Tuesday Sensory Session all about Autumn. Exploring your child's natural curiosities through sensory play, music and storytelling celebrating all things autumnal.
Babies and Toddlers are active learners and are eager to explore and discover the world around them. Our FREE sessions offer lots of invitations to play in a welcoming and homely environment.

Grimm & Dads is back!

We are pleased to share the return of Grimm & Dads!

Following your feedback and reviews, Grimm & Dads will be back and running one Saturday each month, running from September through to March 2027!

September session:

When: Saturday 26th September

Where: Grimm and Co, Ship Hill, Rotherham

Time: 1:00pm – 2:30pm

What’s Grimm and Dads?

Designed for children aged 0–5 years and their dads or any male caregiving role, Grimm & Dads is a chance to play, explore, create and have fun together.

And when we say dads, we mean any special male caregiver, this could be a dad, grandad, uncle, big cousin or another important male grown-up!

What to expect:

• Time to play and explore together

• Creative activities and making

• Opportunities to get involved and have fun

• Quality time for little ones and their grown-ups

• A chance to meet and connect with other families
