Last Wednesday we held two of our Big Blast performances at Winterhill and Dinnington High schools. It was once again a pleasure to see the hard work of the young people and their teachers pay off as we witnessed their full class instrument performances.
A huge thank you to Winterhill and Dinnington High Schools for hosting these events, and of course to the other participating schools: Anston Brook, Anston Park, Kimberworth Community School, Roughwood Primary School, and Redscope Primary School.

On Saturday, Rotherham Music were at WoW Festival Rotherham. We were delighted to see a wide array of talent and discussion from female, trans, and non-binary individuals, and of course we were very excited to bring some to the table ourselves.
With appearances on the community stage from Kat Clayton, Lola Knight, Laura Folkes as well as an appearance by the Wickersley Voices Choir from Wickersley Ssc, with solo performances by Poppy Brown, Emilie Roberts, Harriet Harvey and Mia Glover.
Fantastic performances all around. We look forward to bringing you more soon!

Miroslav beautifully lit up the café with his flowing performance, combining many unique pieces of music, from classical, to jazz and even some old-school rock & roll, all strung together through amazing improvisational skills.

Last week we held our first ever Piano Festival in Riverside House, capped off with a special performance by Libby Burgess on Friday evening.
We were amazed by the range of talents and styles who came together to play throughout the week, what an astounding experience!
Thank you to all of the fantastic pianists who came to play for our showcases and of course to the wonderful Libby Burgess for delivering her masterclass to some of the pianists and her incredible performance.
And not forgetting a huge thank you to those who came to support and enjoy the showcases, whether you were there to support family or just to hear some music.
Stay tuned for more musical experiences and showcases coming to you throughout the year.
