Y11 students will be able to attend school between 9am and 11am to collect their GCSE results.
Y10 Students wishing to collect their English Literature results are able to collect these between 11am and 12pm.

End of term notice:

Oakwood High School closes for the Summer break on Friday 17th July 2026. Attendance up to and including this date is compulsory for all students. On Friday 17th July;

Years 9 and 11 will be able to leave from 11:45am after period 2.

Year 7, 8 and 10 will be able to leave from 12:05pm after period 2 also.

GCSE exam results Day:

GCSE Results Day takes place on Thursday 20th August 2026;

Y11 students will be able to attend school between 9.00am and 11.00am to collect their GCSE results.

Y10 Students wishing to collect their English Literature results are able to collect these between 11.00am and 12.00pm.

Return to school in September;

Oakwood High School reopens to students on Wednesday 2nd September 2026.

Year 7 ONLY are to arrive for an 8:40am start to undertake an orientation morning in the absence of other year groups.

Y9 and Y11 will arrive from 10:45am with the expectation that they are in meeting points at 10.55am (Y9 Sports Hall, Y11 Main Hall).

Y8 and Y10 will arrive from 11:05am with the expectation that they are in the meeting points at 11.15am (Y8 Sports Hall, Y10 Main Hall).

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome 24 guests representing 16 different companies yesterday. They conducted mock interviews with our Year 10 students. Students had prepared for their interviews in PSHE lessons and we were thrilled to receive comments from our guests about how motivated, passionate and friendly they were and such a great representation of the school.

A heartfelt well done to our students and thanks to our guests for giving our students such a valuable opportunity to discover what an interview might be like and how to impress future employers and college admissions’ teams.
