🍦Ice cream shop🍦(part two)
Today the children have visited our ice cream shop. They decided which flavour ice cream they would like to try and then selected the correct number of items from the garden to pay. If they wanted strawberry ice cream it cost 1 leaf, if they chose chocolate ice cream they needed to pay with 2 pebbles and vanilla ice cream cost 3 sticks. The children worked really hard to recognise the numerals and counted out the correct number of items to buy their ice cream. Some children helped to serve the ice cream and even gave change when they gave too much ‘money’. We even listened to some traditional ice cream van music whilst we waited. A lovely way to spend the day!

This half term one of our special story has been 'We're going on a bear hunt'. The children have been baking teddy bear biscuits and counting it's eyes and nose. We have been making caves for the bear in the garden and with the wooden bricks in the construction area. We have also been exploring ice, mud and green with our hands and feet.
