Are you passionate about education and want to make a difference to our school community?
We are welcoming expressions of interest for potential roles within our governing body.
We are looking for committed and motivated individuals, who share our values and passion for education. Experience in finance, human resources, business, education or working with young people would be desirable but not essential.
The role and responsibilities of a school governor include: providing support, overcoming challenges in delivering educational excellence, and achieving outstanding outcomes for all pupils. Governors will have an interest in the performance of the school, an open and enquiring mind and the ability to look at issues objectively.
Governors will have the confidence to ask questions, work with and listen to others, join in debate, and make informed judgements.
Being a school governor is a voluntary commitment. You would need to be available to support at governing board meetings (7 full meetings take place per year starting at 5.30pm).
Please share with family, friends and colleagues. You can send any expressions of interest to: [email protected]
Thank you
