🎨🖌️ Little artists, big movements! 💪✨

Painting isn’t just about creating colourful masterpieces — it’s also a fantastic way for children to develop their gross motor skills!

As little ones reach, stretch, squat, twist, move their arms and paint on big surfaces, they’re building strength, coordination, balance and body awareness — all while having loads of fun! 🌈

So grab those paintbrushes, roll out the paper and let them move, create and get messy! 🎨👐

Because sometimes the biggest learning happens when there are paint splashes everywhere! 😄💛

🩹✨ Little Helpers at Work! ✨🩹

Today our little ones got busy caring for their friends, toys and teddies with some very important bandage practice! 👩‍⚕️🧸❤️

Through this fun role-play activity, the children were developing so many skills without even realising it! 🌟

🖐️ Strengthening those little fingers and fine-motor skills
🗣️ Building new vocabulary and communication
💗 Showing kindness, care and empathy
🎭 Using their imaginations through role play
🧠 Developing problem-solving and independence

There were lots of smiles, lots of caring hands and, thankfully, no real injuries! 😄🩹

Who knew looking after a poorly teddy could be such a great learning opportunity? 🧸💕

Once again our community is lucky to have it's own amazing Arts festival. Literally hundreds of hours go into the planning and preparation of these types of events, by dropping in is your way of showing your support (and it's so much fun)

After School Club Parents.
Now that the weather is getting cooler and more unsettled can we please ask that your child has a waterproof coat with them when attending Station House. There is nothing worse than arriving at Station House all wet and cold.

The playgroup children love playing outdoors.
OFSTED says we must provide the children with access to the outdoors daily unless the weather conditions make it unsafe.
Children aged between 1 and 5 years old should aim for 180 minutes (3 Hours) of physical activity daily.
By being outside most of the session children are already more than halfway to their daily total. 🛝🥅⚽️🎨🫟
