Agard class positive post of the week:

We have decorated our playground with lovely flags.
We have put them up because we are excited about the World Cup. We think the flags look wonderful.

We have taken photos of our favourite flags. Thank you Mr Ryan for putting them up, you are very kind.

Students in Agard class have been creating a positive social media post about Newie - The Newman School Dog. Agard class wrote some fantastic sentences and took some lovely photos.

Newie is a lovely dog. Newie is very kind to our students. Newie likes to play on the grass. Newie likes to go on walks. New likes to play with the ball. Newie likes to go to the big wheel. Newie is a polite, black and white dog. Newie is good at playing football.

👩‍🎓It was lovely to welcome some of our former pupils back into school today to share their journeys since leaving us and tell our current students about what they are doing now.

Hearing about their experiences, achievements, and the different paths they have taken was both inspiring and encouraging for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to the students who gave up their time to come in and speak with us today. We really appreciate your support and are so proud of everything you have accomplished. We wish you continued success in the future! 🌟

🎟️✨ SUMMER FAYRE RAFFLE APPEAL ✨🎟️

Our Summer Fayre is now only 5 weeks away and we’re getting very excited! 🌞

We’re hoping to make our raffle bigger and better this year, so we’re looking for donations of raffle prizes. No donation is too small — vouchers, gift sets, chocolates, bottles, experiences, or anything fun would be hugely appreciated! 💛

If anyone has contacts with local businesses who may be willing to donate a prize, we’d also love to hear from you. It’s a great opportunity for businesses to support the local community and we’ll happily give them a shout out on our social media pages too 📣

This week, some of our NAR students had the opportunity to visit Lifewise Centre — a fantastic scenario-based learning facility designed to provide educational experiences in a realistic film-set environment.

Students took part in a range of interactive activities and learning experiences, helping to build confidence, awareness, and important life skills in a fun and engaging way.

Everyone had a great time. Well done to all involved! 👏

🎉📮 Attenborough Class have been very busy celebrating a very special milestone!

To recognise Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, students created thoughtful birthday cards and wrote a letter to send to him. 🌍💚

The class then enjoyed a walk to the local post office where they bought stamps and proudly posted their cards and letter themselves. What a lovely way to mark the occasion while practising important life skills in the community! ⭐️
