🌾 Harvest Giving at Fun Hub Nursery 🌾

We’ve been delighted to support St James Church Clifton Rotherham, our local church’s Harvest collection this year. Our lovely staff and nursery families have kindly donated lots of products which was collected by Mother Caroline today who will deliver the donation to Hopian ❤️

At Fun Hub Nursery, we’re always happy to make links with our local community and lend a helping hand wherever we can. We believe it’s so important to teach our children about kindness, sharing and looking out for others — and what better way than by getting involved in something that makes a real difference? 🥰

A huge thank you to all our families for your generous donations. Together, we can make a difference and show our little ones the importance of caring for those around us. 🌟

💛 Grandparents Day at Nursery! 💛

Today we had the loveliest time celebrating Grandparents Day with a special Grandparents Stay & Play! 👵👴✨

It was so wonderful to see the children joined by their grandparents, spending quality time together, playing, exploring and making special memories in our nursery.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful grandparents who came along and joined in the fun. It was truly lovely to have you with us, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! 🥰

What a special way to celebrate the very special grandparents in our children's lives. ❤️

Nurturing the harvest from our very own vegetable garden 🪴🪏

This morning the children harvested the new potatoes they planted back in spring and were so excited to discover some wonderfully ‘wonky’ spuds! 🥔

They couldn’t wait to take their fresh harvest to show Emma, our nursery cook. She couldn’t believe just how many potatoes had grown from one small growing sack! 🌱👩‍🍳

After giving our potatoes a good wash, we moved on to the next exciting part of our story…

What could we possibly make with our home-grown harvest? 🥔

Thank you for filling their lives with so much love, laughter, cuddles and precious memories. You really are one of a kind! 🌸✨

Lots of love from all of us at The Fun Hub Nursery! 💕

😁🦷 World Smile Day! 🦷😁

To celebrate World Smile Day, we’re reflecting back on Wednesday, when members of the Oral Health Team visited our nursery to take part in some fun and engaging activities with the children.

The session supported the children’s learning about brushing their teeth, looking after their teeth and developing good oral health habits. 🪥✨

The children had lots of fun dressing up as dentists, using the giant toothbrush to brush the giant teeth, and taking part in a variety of fun games and activities.

A big thank you to the Oral Health Team for helping make learning about healthy smiles so enjoyable! 💙😁

Keep smiling and keep brushing! 🪥🦷✨

🌿🧤 Little hands making a big difference! 🧤🌿

Our nursery children have been getting involved in litter picking around our local community, learning how important it is to look after the places we live, play and learn. 💚

The children were so excited to get stuck in and did a fantastic job helping to make our local area cleaner and more beautiful. It was a wonderful opportunity to teach them about caring for our environment and being responsible members of our community. 🌍✨

A huge thank you to Love Where You Live Rotherham for kindly donating litter pickers and high-vis jackets for our children. Your generous support meant that our little helpers were well prepared, safe and ready to make a difference! 💛

We are so proud of our nursery children — small hands, big hearts and a big impact! 🌟

💙 We thank our friends at B:Friend for sharing this story with their community 📢📖

Our Mowbray Gardens Social Club recently featured in the Rotherham Advertiser
after making a wonderful connection with The Fun Hub Nursery.📰 ✨

The nursery celebrated the release of Gruffalo Granny by Julia Donaldson on 10 September, and invited our social club members to read from the book to the children. 📚 A lovely afternoon of connection through the generations!
