We have a brand-new hairdressing traineeship vacancy in the Rotherham, S60 area. This is a fantastic opportunity within a very popular hairdressers who are wanting a 16–18-year-old to join their team.

The main duties when you start would involve:
• Making sure all clients are greeted when they enter the salon politely and asking if they require a drink.
• Washing the client’s hair so it is ready to be cut.
• Blow drying the client’s hair once the stylist has finished cutting it.
• To ensure all work areas are cleaned thoroughly and floors are swept regularly.
• Sterilise all equipment after every client.
• You will be trained on how to use the phone system, checking the appointment book for availability when booking clients in, moving, or cancelling an appointment.
• Training will also be provided for the current pricelist including any other treatments.

We have a brand-new traineeship vacancy in the Rotherham, S65 area. This is an administrative role for a well-established staircase manufacturer, who are wanting a 16–18-year-old to join their team.

Full training would be supplied, some of the main duties would involve:
• Routine administration support for the employer, including word processing, photocopying and filing.
• Updating and maintaining the employer database, inputting and extracting information, producing reports when required.
• Carrying out basic financial procedures recording cash, cheque and card transactions.
• To be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, as a member of their admin team. This would include answering the telephones and emails.

We have an exciting new customer service/retail vacancy in Doncaster, DN6 area. This company are looking for an enthusiastic 16–18-year-old to help in their busy pet store. They would like someone who is passionate about meeting their customers' needs and working as a team to grow their business.

Full training will be supplied and some of the main duties would include:
• Building customer relationships in the busy store, including answering the telephone and using the till.
• Stock management, including replenishment, stock rotation, date checking, labelling and taking ownership of areas of the store and making it your own.
• Using initiative to carry out tasks as required, but also working as part of a team.
• Flexibility would be key. Due to the nature of working within a busy retail environment, they would need you to have the ability to work Saturdays.
