Notice to all schools/service users – Corona Virus (COVID-19)
We at Nova want to let everyone know that we are following the developments of the Virus and listening very carefully to the advice being given by the Government and Public Health England.
WE ARE OPEN and operating at full capacity. Classes and Timetables are not affected.
However, we understand this may change in the coming weeks and months.
We want to protect YOU, the users, your families and loved ones and our staff as much as possible and we can do this by following these simple steps.
• As per the government advice anyone with a HIGH TEMPERATURE or a new PERSISTENT COUGH should not come to the facilities. You should stay at home, rest up and get better. 7 days as a minimum.
• Please WASH YOUR HANDS before you come to the building. At Nova we will also provide soap and sanitizer for you during, and after your sessions.
• Please follow the guidelines of coughing and sneezing – CATCH IT & BIN IT or use the crook of your elbow and wash up afterwards.
• There may be breaks during the day for cleaning of Surfaces and high contact areas. This may happen in the gaps between classes to minimise impact on your sessions.
These measures are designed for us to help look after each other.
Following the statements by the government yesterday we believe it is likely that measures will change as the situation develops over the next weeks. We will keep you updated on all social media as to how any new measures will impact our service.

Nova City AP 2020!

We've had a flying start with the alternative provision programme in our Rotherham centre this new year. We are now working with Rawmarsh, Winterhill and Thrybergh schools and are set to support more schools after February half term.

We still have some availability on a Monday and Wednesday for full day placements and re-integration programmes. Our activities are completely unique in the area and alongside our mix of youth work and education support, they're proving a real hit within our schools network.

We are currently meeting with schools in the Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster areas regarding our alternative provision that we offer to schools and PRU's in the area. We offer full time programmes, part time and also last minute emergency placements for students unable to access their regular provisions.
