Great campaign stall today at the Coop Food Store in Kiveton Park. Nearly 50 people signed the petition to many of them former students or with family members who are currently studying at the college.

Alongside the petition we distributed leaflets encouraging people to contact their MP, the Secretary of State for Education, the local press and the CEO of the RNN Group to explain why the college should remain open so it can continue providing learning opportunities to the communities it serves.

Lots of people are supporting our campaign to by signing the petition & sharing their reasons why the college should stay open.

"Not only does Dinnington need an establishment for further education, having been built to educate our miners, the building is part of our local history and a proud local landmark. Dinnington has lost so much in the last 40 years that pride has been almost destroyed. Destruction of this building will eradicate any that remains."

"We need more seats of education not less. It’s time to put people before profits."

Add your voice please sign the petition to stop RNN Group closing Dinnington College. Let's get to 1000 signatures! Together we will win.

Today in parliament

“Today in Parliament I raised my concerns over the potential closure of Dinnington college and called on the Government to help protect our most vulnerable learners. The Minister has agreed to a meeting to look at this important issue for Rother Valley. https://t.co/863nVWm3S1”
