Schools and colleges will reopen sometime in the future.
But we must not forget that plans are still in place to close Dinnington College permanently.

We've had very successful information stalls at Tesco in Dinnington and the Co-op in Kiveton Park.

If anyone out there wants to run a stall in your community let us know.

We have two campaign kits available. Each includes petitions, clip boards, pens, posters, leaflets and folding table.

Anston, Laughton, Maltby, Thurcroft, Todwick, Woodsetts - and all points in between.

Great campaign stall today at the Coop Food Store in Kiveton Park. Nearly 50 people signed the petition to many of them former students or with family members who are currently studying at the college.

Alongside the petition we distributed leaflets encouraging people to contact their MP, the Secretary of State for Education, the local press and the CEO of the RNN Group to explain why the college should remain open so it can continue providing learning opportunities to the communities it serves.

Let them know why the college should remain open.

"Not only does Dinnington need an establishment for further education, having been built to educate our miners, the building is part of our local history and a proud local landmark. Dinnington has lost so much in the last 40 years that pride has been almost destroyed. Destruction of this building will eradicate any that remains."

Great turnout tonight for the first public meeting of the campaign to but no show from the CEO of RNN Group despite an invite. Thank you to all who gave up their time to come along and pledge their support to keep our College open. Together we will win.
