🎃👻 OUR FINAL LITTLE MOVERS PARTY 👻🎃

💗 A SUPER SAD… BUT VERY EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT 💗

After what feels like a lifetime of dancing, singing, dressing up and making crazy animal noises 😂… my Little Movers journey is coming to an end.

I’ll soon be hanging up my dancing shoes and saying goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of my life for the last (almost) 5 years. 🥹

Little Movers has given me so much more than I ever expected. It gave me a fabulous community around me at a time when I was becoming a mum, raising my two girls and figuring out who I was in this whole new chapter of life.

To every single person who has been part of the journey — whether you’ve come to one class, stayed for years, booked a party, brought your little one to PE, recommended me to a friend, shared a post, liked a photo, told someone about Little Movers or simply cheered me on from the sidelines…

THANK YOU. ❤️

You have genuinely helped make the last 5 years so special, and I will be forever grateful.

But now, my girls are getting bigger, one has started school and the other is heading towards nursery, and I feel ready to rediscover a little bit of Alexa outside of being Mum.

It’s exciting, scary, emotional and a little bit bonkers all at the same time… but I feel like it’s the right time for a new chapter. ✨

I’m looking for someone who would love to take Little Movers Rotherham forward and make it their own.

Don’t worry — classes will continue until the end of term, and any schools or nurseries that are already booked in until the end of the year are absolutely fine. ❤️ Our Halloween Party will be the last parent/child event with me!

What a lovely feeling it was to be BACK at Baby Movers! 🥹💃🏼❤️

And WOW… the mums absolutely smashed our Dolly Parton line dancing! 🤠🔥 I genuinely wasn’t expecting you all to pick it up quite so quickly!

We may have also thrown in a little bit of Steps… a dash of Tragedy… and quite a lot of questionable dance moves 🤣💃🏼 But honestly, you all blew me away!

This is exactly why I love Baby Movers — yes, the babies get to move, groove, play and have fun, but the grown-ups get to have a little bit of fun too! ❤️

🚨 SATURDAY CLASS REMINDER! 🚨

Just a little reminder that there is NO Little Movers class this Saturday 💃🕺

I’m taking a very important weekend off to recover from my Dirty Dancing vs Grease bottomless dinner 😂🍹🎶

Don’t worry, I’ll be back in action next week, fully recovered (hopefully!) and ready to dance, wiggle and make lots of noise with you all! 💃✨

👋🏼 NEW FOLLOWERS… HI! LET’S REINTRODUCE MYSELF! 💕

There’s been lots of new faces around here lately, so I thought it was probably time I introduced myself properly!

I’m Alexa, mum of two girls 👧🏼👧🏼 and the person behind Little Movers Rotherham! You’ll usually find at least one of my little ones joining me at class… because apparently running a business with two children wasn’t enough of a challenge 😂

We’re currently very much in our princess era 👑✨ and my biggest girl has just started school — so I’m entering a whole new world of school runs, uniforms, homework (already?!), clubs and figuring it all out as I go!

Outside of Little Movers, I LOVE musicals 🎭, going to the theatre, having our friends round and letting the kids run absolutely wild while the adults attempt to have a conversation 😂

I’m also very much a “yes, mix all the Play-Doh colours together” kind of mum… BUT you’re only allowed to play with it at the kitchen table. I have limits. 😂

I’m still figuring out this whole parenting-two-children thing too. Some days we’re absolutely THRIVING… and other days we’re firmly in SURVIVING mode. 🙃

But honestly, that’s what I love about Little Movers too. It’s not about being the perfect parent or having it all together. It’s about getting out, having fun, making memories, meeting other parents and letting our little ones be little. ❤️

✨ We’ve been to Wiggle & Wonder Play cafe in Rotherham town centre today! ✨

What a lovely play session we had! 🥰 There really is a bit of everything for little ones — from the climbing space and building corner, to the dress-up section, pretend-play shop, sensory tray and so much more! 🧱🛝👗🛒

We had such a brilliant time exploring, playing and letting Poppys burn some energy climbing everywhere. 💕 It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for somewhere smaller to keep little ones entertained where you can see them all the time!
