We currently have spaces for children with a SEND support plan/EHCP in mainstream settings and primary-aged EOTAS pupils. We also offer a limited number of hours for SEND tuition each week.

Uh oh, not doing well with the challenge!

I shall skip to today, Day 19 - ‘My tutoring space’ and here it is…my ‘classroom’ down at the bottom of the garden, away from the chaos of the house 👍🏻😂 it’s lovely and peaceful in there until a pigeon flies in and petrifies a tutee 🙈🐦

Day 7 - My favourite book. Absolutely has to be HARRY POTTER 🤩 I have always loved reading but HP really captured my imagination and allowed me to dream…about one day attending Hogwarts 😂

Day 8 - My typical working day. I still have a little one at home so I tutor Monday and Tuesday evenings after the school run and and teach at school on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 👩🏼‍🏫

Day 9 - In my spare time…I don’t have loads but I love going to the gym and keeping active, walking and running 🏃‍♀️ I bake with my children too, if the mixture ever makes it into the oven 🙈🧁

Day 4 - Technology and I 💻👩🏼‍💻 I absolutely love Google Drive and use it for everything! It’s so useful to create/edit things at home and at school, as well as my tutees being able to use it to type and make PPT’s etc!!

Day 5 - I tutor because…it’s amazing to work one to one with children in a way that is really hard in the classroom!! Seeing them make progress week on week is fab 🤩🤩🤩

Day 6 - Favourite resource 📚 I use the Oxford Owl Free e-book library loads and it’s great!! All levelled books, children can choose what they fancy without having to have lots of hard copies at hand and they update them all the time too 👍🏻

Knew I would forget 🙈😂

So day 2…two facts about me!
1. I’m an only child 👧🏼
2. I’m vegan 🌱

And day 3…something I love!
Has to be these 3, my absolute world 🌎 have a great weekend!

So yesterday I said goodbye to the most amazing tutee…one of the first ones I started working with back in June 2021 😢 she absolutely smashed her SATs and is more than ready for her next adventure starting Year 7 in September!! I will miss her lots but she will be fantastic…an absolute superstar 🌟
