In Science this week our Busy Bees and Talented Tigers have been learning about the different animal groups. The children have identified and named a variety of common animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. As part of their task the children had to sort pictures of a range of different animals into each category. Children then drew an animal for each category and explained why the animals belong in each group.

This week our Busy Bees children received a mystery note asking to help find the treasure. The children went on a treasure hunt following the clues around school. Once they found the treasure the children created a simple map of where the treasure was found including key places where the clues were. Children drew human and physical features on their map and created a simple key.
