We're proud to see Maltby Manor Academy, featured by the National Education Nature Park for its fantastic transformation of a once-grey courtyard into a thriving wildlife garden.
Using funding from the Nature Park Grant, the academy has created a vibrant outdoor space with raised planters filled with flowers, herbs and shrubs to attract pollinators. Integrated bench planters provide areas for children to sit, learn and enjoy nature, while bug hotels and log piles have turned every corner into a valuable habitat for local wildlife.
This inspiring project is helping to boost biodiversity, create opportunities for outdoor learning and demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and environmental education.
Well done to everyone involved in bringing this wonderful space to life!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of pupils from Ravenfield Primary Academy, who recently competed in a local NFL Flag Football tournament.
Ten pupils from Years 5 and 6 represented their school with outstanding teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition. After a series of impressive performances, the team progressed to the regional finals in Leeds, going head-to-head with some of the strongest schools across the area.
Rising brilliantly to the challenge, they fought their way to the final match in what was a highly competitive event. While they narrowly missed out on qualification for the national finals, reaching this stage is a truly remarkable accomplishment.
The pupils were exceptional ambassadors for Ravenfield Primary Academy and Maltby Learning Trust, showcasing resilience, skill and commitment every step of the way.
A huge well done to all involved, you’ve done your school and community proud!
