I think I’m finally ready to post our end of term photos. It was my first full cycle of having children from babies then having them leave and such a big (and boisterous 🤣) group to lose. Not to mention the beautiful friendships that were made.

I’m privileged to have received so many first day of nursery photos and updates on how children are getting on. Families have become our friends with regular meet ups and Jude gets to carry on his friendship with children who have shared his home. I also get the honour of welcoming siblings and starting all over again 🥰

4 weeks is all we have left together as one big group 😢 Some of these children have been with me from the beginning and some have joined along the way and some are here to stay for longer. For the next 4 weeks we are going to do everything that childhood should be made of and enjoy every bit of time together ❤️

I haven’t posted since before Easter! We’ve had the loveliest, busiest time - we’re completely full now through the summer. We’ve welcomed new babies and our new assistant, Vicky, who is the most nurturing and calming person and she’s built such strong relationships with all the children over the last few weeks ❤️

We’ve got a new swing for the garden which has gone down a treat and everyone had enjoyed spending lots of time outdoors ☀️

It seems like such a long time ago since our Ofsted inspection but, finally, I can share the report.

We were among some of the first inspected under the new framework but it was a positive experience overall with a very fair and thorough inspector and I’m thrilled with the outcome.

I hope it’s useful for not only parents but other childminders who are feeling the enormous dread of their inspection.

What a wonderful time spotting signs of spring, playing with kittens, welcoming babies, making Mother’s Day cards, enjoying ice creams in the sunshine and celebrating a birthday 🌼😻🍦☀️🎉

In other exciting news, after Easter we’re welcoming another full time member of staff to our team to enjoy adventures with our growing gang - it’s going to be an exciting summer 🥰
