This week, the school enjoyed a fantastic performance inspired by Little Red Riding Hood 🎭📚, with a powerful message at its heart 💛

The children watched a creative retelling that focused on kindness, building friendships, and the importance of standing up to bullying 🤝🌈. Through fun storytelling, music, and engaging characters, the performance helped reinforce how our actions and words can make a big difference to others.

It was a brilliant way to bring these important values to life, and the children took away some really meaningful messages about being kind, including others, and looking out for one another 💬✨

Yesterday's Sports Day may have been cancelled due to the weather 🌧️, but that didn’t stop the children from making the most of it 💪✨

Instead, they took the opportunity to stay active throughout the day, taking part in a range of sports-themed activities both in class and outside 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️⚽. From team games and skill challenges to improvised races and movement breaks, the school was still full of energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of friendly competition 🤝🎯

While it wasn’t the Sports Day we originally planned, it turned into a fantastic day of movement, teamwork, and fun — a real celebration of staying active in all conditions 🌟👏

Sports day for this morning and this afternoon is cancelled. We apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. The weather was not on our side today!

Sadly, parents are NOT invited to attend the sports day activities in the classroom.

Unfortunately , due to the weather last night, the field is too wet for Sports Day to go ahead this morning for the Year 3's, 4's and nursery. We will make a decision on this afternoon's sports day for the Year 5s and 6s before lunch.
Children can still attend in their PE kit and we will complete the fun sports activities in class.

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to Sports Day!

This year, Sports Day will look a little different from previous years, with children taking part in a variety of track and field activities throughout the event.

To help everyone enjoy the day safely and comfortably, we kindly ask that all adults remain on the playground and do not enter the field. To improve visibility across the field, children will not be seated on chairs during the event.

📸 Please remember that any photos taken are for personal use only and should not be shared online.

☕🍰 Refreshments will be available to purchase on the day, so please bring some cash. All proceeds will go towards supporting our school funds.

☔ In the event that Sports Day needs to be cancelled due to poor weather, we will notify families as soon as possible.
